OUR MISSION

Caroline and Aaron Hopper started a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity called Grace's Toy Closet to benefit oncology patients at Arkansas Children's Northwest. It was inspired by their daughter, Grace, who died on June 8, 2023, after heroically fighting T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for 16 months. Playing with new toys brought Grace much happiness during her time in the hospital, despite the terrible circumstances. The organization’s goal is to deliver toys to every child undergoing treatment at Arkansas Children’s Northwest so that their unpleasant days of receiving treatment are made a little brighter. It is a blessing to bring the same joy and excitement Grace had to other children who are fighting cancer every day.
